Have you seen this before?

If yes, then you’ve probably seen them in some Jap food fare

They look like snails but they’re not. Those are sea creature(maybe fish) eggs wrapped in really really tough baby squid. The sauce is nice and sweet but the squid tastes like chewy leather ..   not too good for an expensive pack of foodie
